1. Mysore Palace

Visiting the Mysore Palace is one of the top things to do while in Mysore. The Palace is located in the centre of Mysore and faces the Chamundi Hills eastwards. It is also known as the Ambavilas Palace, it was the home to the Wadeyar dynasty.

2. Brindhavan Gardens 

The best way to spend an evening in Mysore is to visit the Brindhavan Gardens. It is located in the Mandya Distrct, Karnataka and lies adjoining the Krishnasagara Dam which is built across the river Cauvery. The gorgeous flora, fountain shows, and the boat ride nearby makes it an ideal place for families with kids, couples, and even friends.

6. Namdroling Nyingmapa Monastery

Located in Bylakuppe, Karnataka the Namdroling Nyingmapa Monastery is the largest teaching centre of Nyignma lineage in Tibetan Budhhism. It is currently home to almost 5,000 monks and nuns who spread the teachings of the Buddhist faith. The monastery is an architectural masterpiece filled with colourful artwork.
