U&I is a volunteer-driven charitable trust with its teaching centres all over India, including Thrissur, with the main goal of providing avenues for better education to underprivileged children and those in need. With their teaching programs, U&I has changed numerous lives of children across India, who were struggling with or lacking basic educational facilities. The volunteers are young people with the passion to teach for a social cause, who tutor these children in various subject areas like Math, English, Science, etc.
ATMA Gurukulam is a home for underprivileged girls in need of care and protection, who have no safe home, no supporting parents, who are from families in conflict, who have no means for education, etc. Functioning at Puranattukara, 5 kms from Thrissur City, the ATMA Gurukulam is currently home to 20 girls, aged 9 to 22. The food, accomodation and educational requirements of the girls are undertaken by the foundation. Apart from regular academics, the girls are given an opportunity to grow in areas like yoga training, workshops in finance & digital empowerment and leadership, sports participation, etc.

Santhi Medical Information Centre is a charitable institution founded by Mrs. Uma Preman on Aug 24th 1997 in Guruvayur, Thrissur. The institution is a resource centre for those who seek medical information, treatment & financial assistance for crippling or life-threatening ailments. It was the untimely death of her husband, Mr. Preman Thaikkad, caused due to delayed and improper diagnosis and treatment, which made her work towards creating this organisation to help provide the right medical information and the proper treatment essential to safeguard human lives.
